Creating a brand story. We are currently working on a highly enjoyable ‘deep-dive’ SME rebrand for Holloway Plastics, a leading supplier plastic retailer and manufacturer. We have a passion for helping Midlands businesses thrive.
Ever wondered who makes those incredible plastic POS displays, which grace the retail spaces likes of Selfridges and John Lewis? These are the guys that up until now quietly engineered and fabricate those wonders in plastic. With a LEP grant secured Holloway plastics were able to now market their business properly, and importantly be recognised for the marvellous and innovative work that they do here in the West Midlands.
Creating a brand story
The senior management embraced the whole Brand Spanking process as we first started with defining their core business; that had become maybe over diversified, to an objective focus of expertise. This informed the direction the direction the business should take and its approach to market. The process also gave the management team a clearer direction of travel that they were part of creating.
Their personal, hands-on approach and passion for what they do are key components of their brand essence and some of the main reasons why their product is superior to other suppliers. We wanted to start to reinforce these characteristics by telling the story of their product through photography, which will eventually be published on their new website (currently under development). We spent a day in their workshop, documenting every stage of their process from concept development, right through to the end product. The willing support of their friendly staff allowed us to draw focus to the precise, meticulous attention to detail that goes into everything that they do, showing the people behind the product and reinforcing their service driven brand values.
